Michael Pereira

MICHAEL PEREIRA has taught ballet, jazz and musical theatre dance
throughout the United States. He studied the Fosse style with Bob Fosse’s muse
Tony Award Winner Ann Reinking. He had the pleasure of assisting her in the
creative process of bringing the Broadway revival of CHICAGO to life.
As a performer, his other favorite credits include the highly acclaimed
European Tour of "WEST SIDE STORY", "CABARET" and "ANYTHING GOES." He
had the pleasure of singing in the opening number of Broadway Cares'
“GYPSY OF THE YEAR” at Broadway’s Neil Simon Theatre and dancing
opposite of Ann Reinking for DRA's "ALL THAT JAZZ."

Michael has taught for STEPS on Broadway, Marymount Manhattan College,
Dance Master's of America, Dance Educators of America, Ballet Hispanico
and The American Musical and Dramatic Academy. He is also a highly sought
after dance adjudicator. He has worked for American Dance Awards, Kid’s
Artistic Revue, Dance Educator’s of America, StarQuest and BravO!.
